Napoli Prepared to Move for Unsettled Chelsea Defender

Napoli are prepared to pay €30m for Chelsea defender David Luiz this summer, according to reports.

Incoming manager Maurizio Sarri is reportedly willing to let Luiz leave this summer, and the Brazilian has been linked with a reunion with former boss Carlo Ancelotti in Italy.

Ancelotti was in charge when Chelsea initially signed Luiz in 2011, but only worked with him for half a season before leaving the club. Now, he wants to be reunited with the former PSG and Benfica centre-back, as he prepares for his first season as coach of Napoli.

Napoli are wary of losing Kalidou Koulibaly this summer  so are in the market for new defenders, and Luiz is a priority they are willing to splash the cash on, according to Naples paper Il Mattino.

Arsenal have already had a £17.6m bid for Luiz rejected by their London rivals.
