The museum of the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg has presented an exhibition called ‘Like the Gods,’ by the Italian artist Fabrizio Birimbelli in which football legends and stars of the ongoing 2018 World Cup are presented as classic art portraits.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, Zinedine Zidane, Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Cantona among others are highlighted in the museum as part of football’s glorious history.
