Chelsea have praised their player, Kenneth Omeruo on his outstanding performance in Nigeria’s win over Iceland in their second game of the 2018 World Cup. Omeruo joined The Blues in January 2012 but has yet to make his competitive debut for the Londoners, and has been sent out on loan to various clubs including Kasımpaşa, Alanyaspor, ADO Den Haag and Middlesbrough.
”What a performance from @omeruo22! ? #NGAISL,” Chelsea tweeted. Omeruo penned a contract extension with Chelsea last summer, tying him to the club until June 2020.
