Barcelona planning shock move for Man United midfielder

Barcelona are hoping to secure a summer move for Paul Pogba, according to reports in Spain.

Notorious Spanish transfer outlet Don Balon suggest Ernesto Valverde has identified the Manchester United midfielder as the ideal successor to Andres Iniesta.

Iniesta departed Barcelona at the end of last season and the La Liga champions are reportedly keen on bringing a world-class replacement in after the World Cup.

Despite the rumours, United do not want to part with their star midfielder this summer with Jose Mourinho keen to keep hold of the 25-year-old.

The report claims United would not listen to any offers less than €120 million for the France international.

Barcelona reportedly acknowledge a move would be unlikely and are said to have identified Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic as other midfield targets.
