Gareth Bale’s agent has stated that Real Madrid must assure the Wales star of regular game-time if they want to keep him. The Wales international have had it rough in Madrid in the last year. First, injuries have kept him out of the side in recent months, and when he was eventually fit to play, he was unable to break into the team due to the excellent form of Isco. However, Bale showed his quality when he came off the bench and scored two goals in the Champions League final against Liverpool which help the Spanish side win the trophy for the third year in a roll. Now it seem that Bale is keen to play regularly and he is not bothered if he has to leave the European champions to get his wish.
“I think we have to have a chat with Real Madrid and see where we’re going. He wants a better year than he had last year. He wants to play more, and that’s paramount to him. I think he’s one of the top three or four players on earth. For somebody like him, he has to play. It’s not about money,” Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett said.
