Colombia defender, Yerry Mina has had little playing time since he moved to La Liga but the national team coach, Jose Pekerman has backed him to succeed at the World Cup.
“We trust Mina, he’s confident, he’s happy and he feels very good with the team. We also think that he’s doing well and know that in the last few months in Barcelona he hasn’t played much and that’s not great, when he had to play they weren’t many expectations. Football is very fast, a very fast paced sport, we have to decide very quickly what you’re going to do. I’m sure it was tough for him to cope with that situation, we have no doubts and we have no doubt about him being here,” Pekerman said.
