Members of the national team and citizens of Spain have had to deal with the shock of their coach Julen Lopetegui getting the sack two days before the World Cup, yet new coach Fernando Hierro is confident that Spain will still be able to show their Ability.
Hierro appeared before the media on Thursday for his pre-match press conference and attempted to restore some calm ahead of his team’s big match.
“It is true that there is very little time to prepare, but the moment is here and we are clear about what we want to achieve. This will not change, and we will see the same old Spain, the one that wants to take the initiative” Hierro said
