Salah is training again but remains a doubt for Egypt opening World Cup game

Egypt forward, Mohammed Salah is back in full training with his national team but remain a doubt for the World Cup opener against Uruguay. The Liverpool forward was a major doubt for the tournament after he appeared to have dislocated his shoulder in a challenge with Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos during the final of the Champions League a few weeks ago.

However, medical examination revealed that the injury was not as serious as previously perceived and the player should be able to represent his country in Russia.

Salah is now back in full training but Egyptian officials have admitted that the former Roma star is in a race against time to be fit for the opening game of the competition stressing that his chances of featuring in that game are slim. They did however state that Salah should be fit to take part in Egypt’s remaining  Group A games against Russia and Saudi Arabia.
