Athletic Bilbao are willing to re-sign Ander Herrera and are ready to make him their ‘highest paid player’.
The La Liga side were interested in snapping the midfielder up when his contract was due to expire this summer but Manchester United triggered a one-year extension clause.
Bilbao are however still interested and will offer him a lucrative deal to re-join the club this summer, according to Spanish publication AS.
