Manchester United are hopeful that they will keep Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini despite the player expressing his desire to leave the club.
The Belgium international is out of contract at the end of this month and his five-year stay at Old Trafford looks to at an end after reports emerged that Arsenal are hoping to rope in the services of the towering midfielder.
However, United are understood to be readying a renewal offer in a last-gasp bid to retain the 30-year-old’s services.
