Manchester United are almost finalizing on a deal to sign Shaktar Donetsk midfielder Fred and have reportedly made an approach for Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet.
The centre back, who produced some impressive performances last season, has a release clause of €35m (£30.7m) and United are eager to activate the clause and sign the defender.
Bringing in Lenglet, who possesses experience of playing in the Champions League, could well prove to be an inspired move and may make United more resilient at the back.
