Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti has applauded the move for Antoine Griezmann to Barca from Atletico Madrid.
The French footballer has claimed to be good friends with Griezmann but never discussed their future in their career,
Umtiti further added that, “I talk a lot with Griezmann but not about this topic. We talk about Playstation, food, everything, but not about this,”
In addition, “He is a great player and could help any team in the world. If he wants to come here, it would be fantastic.”
Griezmann has been linked with a move to the Spanish champions in recent months, although the most recent report suggests that the striker will turn down a move to La Liga.
He scored 29 goals this season, including a brace in Atletico’s 3-0 Europa League final win over Marseille.
