English Journalist SUSANNA REID has revealed how the World Cup got lost in 1966.
According to Ms Reid, her great uncle Eric Reid was responsible for the lose od the Jules Rimet trophy months before England hosted the tournament.
The trophy was on exhibition at the Meth Dist Central hall in Westminster. This became one of the biggest investigations to ever happen and conducted by Scotland Yard.
The gold trophy was found a week later by a dog named Pickles in bushes outside his owner’s home in South London.
Ms. Reid further added and said that her great uncle Eric Reid was in charge of security company Alsa-Guard – the firm tasked with looking after the cup, but she says the blame was not totally his as he was not allowed to use his trusted lieutenants to help him protect the prize.
