Former Real Madrid midfielder Guti is among the candidates who will be interviewed for the St Mirren managerial job this week.
Guti, whose full name is Jose Maria Gutierrez Hernandez, is currently a youth coach at the Bernabeu and has been linked with the top job at Real in the wake of Zinedine Zidane’s resignation last week.
The 41-year-old had more than a decade as a Real player, before seeing out his career in Turkey with Besiktas, and he returned to Madrid in 2013 to begin his coaching career.
