Belgium Boss introduces new training methods ahead of World Cup

Belgium have implemented a new, inventive method for training as they continue to prepare for the World Cup due in about ten days.

Roberto Martinez has introduced a Teqball table to his side’s training regime. The piece of sport equipment is worth over £2000 and involves close ball control and precision passing.

The players seemed to enjoy the mix up from their usual training sessions on Monday morning, with competitive games on the table that is similar in design to table tennis.

The table is curved and requires players to land the ball on the opponent’s half without ever hitting the ground. It allows the player to work on their control and precision passing as they aim to land it back on the other side of the table.
