France midfielder Corentin Tolisso is annoyed with the fans for whistling at Paul Pogba and Florian Thauvin during France’s friendly win over Italy.
Samuel Umtiti, Antoine Griezmann, and Ousmane Dembele scored for a 3-1 victory over Italy in Nice on Friday. Pogba was whistled by the home fans at the Allianz Riviera and Tolliso has urged fans to be united.
“We’re France, whether we go to Nice, Lyon or Saint-Etienne. Everyone represents the French team. The fans came to support the French team. Personally, when you witness this kind of whistling – and I also noticed some for Florian Thauvin – it’s exasperating, it annoys me,” Tolisso said.
“We’re France, we are all France players, we’re all fighting for our country and for the fans there and we produced a very good performance,” he added.
France are in Group C alongside Australia, Peru, and Denmark
