Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochetino has opened the doors to joining Real madrid by sugesting that “when Real Madrid call, you have to listen.”
Madrid president Florentino Perez is a big admirer of the Argentinian and has made him his number one choice to replace Zinedine Zidane who left the club on Thursday after winning three Champions League titles.
Pochetino signed a new five year deal with Tottenham last week and it is believed that any advances from Madrid will be rebuffed by Spurs Chairman Aron Levy.
The Spurs boss however clarified that he is happy at the club and is preparing for next season with the club.
“I’m working very comfortably at Tottenham and it’s my obligation to focus on that. I do not want, nor can I, comment on Zidane going but what he has done is undoubtedly very big: no one has won three Champions Leagues in a row recently.”
