Uganda skipper terms CAR loss a wake up call

Uganda captain Hassan Wasswa Mawanda says their loss to Central Africa Republic will serve as a wake up call.

Cranes went down by a solitary goal in a friendly match staged in Niger on Wednesday night.

Wasswa admitted that they fought hard but ended up not getting the desired results.

“The players gave their all but did not get the result we all desired. It is a wake up call for us and the opportunity to rectify our mistakes early enough before the AFCON 2019 qualifier against Tanzania. We need to regroup so soon and clean the mistakes before taking on Niger on Saturday.” He told FUFA.
