Kariobangi Sharks hoping to upset Tanzanian Champs Simba

Kariobangi Sharks head coach William Muluya considers his side as underdogs heading to the Super Cup first clash against Tanzanian giants Simba but he is keen to win the Super Cup .

Sharks will face Newly crowned Tanzanian Champions Simba on Monday 4 at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru County. He says heading to the match as underdogs give them the urge to cause upset.

“Simba are the league champions in Tanzania do definitely they are favourites going into the match. I’ve always loved being considered an underdog, that somehow increases my appetite for success. Our target is to get to the finals and for that to happen we first must beat Simba FC to progress and that’s what we shall aim to achieve in our opening match.” Muluya told the club’s official portal.

Sharks and Kakamega Homeboyz will be making their debut appearance in the tournament which is in its second year.
