Ghana names squad for Japan tie, Debut for Boateng

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has revealed his squad that will tackle Japan in a 2018 World Cup warm-up on Wednesday at Yokohama Stadium.

Levante attacker Emmanuel Boateng has his first start for the national team as a striker. Thomas Partey will support him from midfield while Nana Amponsah and Frank Acheampong on the flanks.

Attamah Larweh and Isaac Sackey will play at the heart of the midfielder. The defence will have Andy Yiadom,  Lumor and AgbenyenuRashid Sumaila and Nicholas Opoku  are in defence

Goalkeeper Richard Ofori is in goal.

Starting line up: Ofori, Yiadom, Lumor, Sumaila, Opoku, Attamah, Sackey, Acheampong, Boateng, Partey, Ampomah

Reserves: Ati-Zigi, Kassim, Kwasi Okyere, Dwamena, Gyasi, Adomah, Acquah
