New West Ham Manager Manuel Pellegrini has identified Genoa centre back Armando Izzo as the solution to the team’s leaky defence.
Sky sources report that the club has already initiated talks with the highly rated 26 year old who has impressed for Genoa since signing from Avelino in 2014.
West Ham will have to battle it out with a host of Serie A clubs for Izzo’s signature who will not come cheaply owing to the fact that he has a contract until 2022.
