Former Egypt striker Ahmed Hossam Mido has accused Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos of ‘intentionally’ injuring Liverpool star Mohamed Salah on Saturday night.
Salah was unable to complete the first half of the Champions League final, which Liverpool went on to lose 3-1 following his departure.
A shoulder problem forced Salah into a premature exit after he tangled with Ramos who then landed on top of the Reds star while their arms were linked.
Tweeting in Arabic, Mido — who played for Tottenham, West Ham, Middlesbrough and Wigan during his playing career — wrote: ‘Anyone that understands football would know that Ramos injured Salah intentionally.’
