Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp Identified Marcelo as Real Madrid’s Weakness

While both Real Madrid and Liverpool are doing their best in training to prepare for the massive UEFA Champions League final at Kiev on May 26th, Reds coach Jurgen Klopp is of the opinion that the defending champions’ weakness likely lies on the left side of defense which is occupied by the Brazilian Marcelo.

Real Madrid with Marcelo in their line-up have won three UEFA Champions League titles along with three FIFA Club World Cup titles alongside 12 other titles which includes four La Liga titles as well.

Klopp and Liverpool will be banking heavily on the prolific trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane to keep them ahead in what promises to be a final with goals as neither side have been in the best of defensive health.

Klopp further pointed out that Real Madrid have played well rather than being lucky in their road to the final which has them now on the brink of a historic hat-trick of UEFA Champions League titles.

“Everyone says that Real Madrid had luck eliminating Juventus and Bayern, but it is the third year in a row that they are in a final, and the fourth in five years,” Klopp said.
