Rouven Schröder, the Mainz sports director has described new signing Philip Mwene as a leader and he believes the fullback will impress with the side.
The immediate former FC Kaiserslautern has agreed to stay with Mainz till 2021 and Schroder feels he is very talented and its good he committed his future with the side.
“Phillipp Mwene is a very talented, runny and flexible outfield player, who has constantly developed into a leader in the 2nd Bundesliga during his career. We see in him the potential to take the next steps on this path with us and are pleased that he has decided on a future with Mainz 05,” says about the 24-year-old.
