Gor Mahia players report to Stars camp, Leopards trio stay away

Six players from Gor Mahia FC reported to Harambee Stars camp on Monday 21 May with the squad under new coach Sebastian Migne set to hold its first training session on Tuesday morning, May 22 at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies.

Harun Shakava, Joash Onyango, George Odhiambo, Philemon Otieno, Humphrey Mieno and Francis Kahata reported to camp. Only Boniface Olouch was absent. Leopards had earlier vowed to not let their players go for the National team training and Duncan Otieno, Mike Kibwage and Whyvonne Isuza did not turn up.

Other players who turned up for the session include Patrick Matasi,Jockins Atudo of Posta Rangers, Musa Mohammed, Eric Ouma, Bolton Omwenga, Pistone Mutamba and Ovella Ochieng.

The federation hopes that the remaining local players will all turn up on for Camp on Tuesday morning. The team is preparing for friendlies against Swaziland and Equatorial Guinea.
