AFC Leopards tactician Rodolfo Zapata believes that Ezekiel Omulo Odera would have avoided the red card he was shown against Thika United and he would missed as they tackle KPL Giants Gor Mahia.
The former Thika United central striker scored in their win over 2-0 Thika in a Kenyan Premier League match played on Sunday 19 May.
He was later sent off for taunting Thika fans during his celebrations. The coach is disappointed with the circumstances that led to Odera sent.
“I am however not impressed with the circumstances that led to the sending off of Odera, such situations are avoidable. We will miss him in our next match,” Zapata said after the match.
AFC Leopards is set to play Gor Mahia on Saturday 26 May at Bukhungu. There is however uncertainty if the clash will go on.
