Botswana ‘best’ midfielder tops AFC Leopards transfer wish list

AFC Leopards Head coach Rodolfo Zapata is keen to bring on board midfielder Dirang Moloi from Gaborone United, this according to reports in Botswana.

The former Gaborone United coach  is keen to bolster his squad with experienced players to complement the youngsters in the squad and the midweek sun reports Moloi is the first player he would love to reunite with.

Gaborone is willing to release Moloi as they are currently facing financial challenges. Speaking concerning the transfer, Zapata said:

“We are still in talks, he is a good player with a lot of potential and I hope Leopards will manage to bring him on board. He is an asset,” he was quoted by the Midweek Sun.

Moloi, 33, has vast experience having played in South Africa, Botswana and DR Congo. Zapata who has worked with him before describes him as the best in the country.
