Liverpool in danger of losing Salah to two PL teams after setting price tag

Chelsea, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are all willing to meet Liverpool’s €200million asking price for Mohamed Salah, according to a report.

Diario Gol claims Liverpool have set the huge asking price to get Real Madrid to back off and while Los Blancos have baulked at the cost of the record-breaking Egyptian, three other clubs have not.

The report claims Liverpool have set the price for negotiations to begin after Salah’s phenomenal season, despite arriving last summer for just £36.9million.

Real are hoping to lower the transfer fee by potentially offering Marco Asensio, Gareth Bale or Lucas Vazquez, but interest from nearer home may be a bigger problem for Jurgen Klopp.

Chelsea are considering trying to take the winger him back to Stamford Bridge, while are City hoping to add another forward to their squad.

Pep Guardiola confirmed this week that there would not be wholesale arrivals at the champions this summer, but he did confirm he was looking for another forward.

Liverpool are desperate to keep hold of the 43-goal attacker and are aware that if they do lose Salah the cost of replacing him will be hugely inflated, especially with close to  €200million burning a whole in their pockets.
