Olive Restaurant sorry after breastfeeding blunder

The management of Olive Restaurant in Nairobi has apologized after protesters interrupted operations at the downtown based hotel.

This was after a lady claimed to have ordered to go breastfeed from the washrooms away from other customers.

Mr Moses Wambua, a manager, responding to a outraged group of women who had marched to the restaurant said that they regretted the action.

“We don’t care about women covering up while breastfeeding or not. They can even change their babies in the boss’ office,” he said.

“We are very sorry if indeed this incident happened as we did not know until we learned about it on social media,” he said.

Mr Wambua also clarified that the hotel respects all human rights.
