Bahati’s longtime crush has been released from jail.
Elizabeth ‘Lulu’ Michael, Tanzania’s Bongo actress was released after the judge changed her sentence and recommended that she serves the rest of her sentence outside jail as community services.
Lulu had been sentenced for two years in jail after the court found her guilty of killing her then boyfriend and fellow Tanzanian actor Stephen Kanumba. The deceased was pushed by Lulu slid and fell on the floor, hitting the back of his head and later died. They both had an argument that was attributed to a phone call she had received.
In a statement Lucas Mboje Tanzanian Prisons, spokesman confirmed that Lulu’s sentence had been changed as previous but she was not yet free but was to start doing community service.
