Kenyan basketball player Linet Atieno Juma is making headlines and Kenya proud for all the right reasons. She has emerged as the top student in her class during the 2018 Texas University College.
She got a perfect GPA score of 4.0 after finishing her scholarship. She was also the first Texas College basketball player to register 1000 career rebounds and points in the National Athletics Intercollegiate Association (NAIA) games during her time at the college.
She earlier played Shimba Hills netball and basketball and helpedher school to cement its place as a sports powerhouse by winning back-to-back national and regional titles from 2010 to 2013.
