Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon Babu Owino has savagely attacked Deputy President Dr William Ruto.
This is after the DP publicly claimed he played part in the appointment of ODM leader Raila Odinga to the African Union as the highest representative for infrastructure and development in Africa.
According to Babu Owino, DP Ruto should stop fooling himself. The first time youthful MP says Ruto never negotiated anything for Raila.
He further notes that even if it will take them 100 years of not giving up, Raila Odinga will have to be the President as Ruto becomes the resident.
“William Ruto should stop fooling himself,he never negotiated anything for Baba.Even if it will take us 100 years of not giving up Raila Odinga will have to be the PRESIDENT and Ruto the RESIDENT,” tweeted Babu Owino.

Owino is however not the only lawmaker who have attacked Ruto for claiming credits in Raila’s AU job. ODM director of elections Hon Junet Mohamed on Monday morning also attacked Ruto.
Junet who referred to Ruto as Arap Mashamba dismissed the claims. He claims that it is like Ruto has even grabbed his memory space, referring to Ruto’s claims of Raila approaching him four times four a deal before he refused.
Junet further argues that one needs a good memory to lie consistently.
“Arap Mashamba now claims he negotiated for PM the AU job. A few weeks ago, however, he claimed Tinga approached him four times and he refused. You need good memory to lie consistently. But now the man has even grabbed his own memory space. Hii siasa ya chuki na matusi ni ngumu,” he tweeted.

On Sunday during a church event in Naivasha, Dr Ruto claimed that him alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta had negotiated for Raila’s AU high representative for infrastructure and development post.
Ruto claimed that in their negotiations, gold trading was not part of the deal. He said this while referring to the ongoing probe into the fake gold scandal that has hit the Country.
In the leaked audio bearing a conversation between the alleged Dubai contact and a Kenyan contact over the delivery of the consignment, Raila’s name is mentioned which is making Ruto and his allies demand him to record a statement with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
