Tanasha clarifies on claims that her music is dependent on ghostwriters

Kenyan Singer and Radio Presenter Tanasha Donna has set the record straight after claims that her music career depends on ghostwriters.

These accusations were made by upcoming rapper BeyT who dissed Tanasha saying that she does not really care about the Kenyan Music industry.

BeyT says she has no time to wait for Tanasha’s ghost writers and she believes that she shines brighter than her.

In a recent Instagram post,  Tanasha says she has been getting questions from her fans on whether she writes her own songs or not.

The questions from fans were probably a trigger after BeyT’s diss track.

The ‘Radio’ hitmaker says that so far, she writes her own songs and  she will give credit in future in case someone writes for her.

In one of the interview, Tanasha had revealed how she and her best friend Barack Jacuzzi  wrote their song in 40 minutes.

“Got few questions lately of people asking if I write my own songs. Yes I write all my songs and if I do happen to  have a song written for me in future, I will always give credit where due” she said in her post

In other countries, the music industry and business is so developed that ghostwriting is something that has been fully embraced.

In the Kenyan setup, some tend to think that one should be branded as talentless if they cannot write their song.

A Tanzanian singer once admitted she allows people to write for her so that her music may not end up sounding similar.
