They say age is just but a number, however, Kenyan Gospel singer Kevin Bahati has been receiving attacks from his followers ever since he ditched bachelors club and got married to an older lady.
Bahati’s wife Diana Marua also has been under trolls and bullies by fans whom they nick named her ‘shosh wa Baha’.
But for Diana Marua, their age difference is not a big deal as Bahati has exhibited more maturity when compared to his older counterparts.
“People have pointed out that he is younger than me. When we started out, it did not bother me because Bahati is more mature than most men older than me in his thinking,” Diana said.
During an interview with local magazine, narrated the mystery around her age by revealing that she is actually 30 while her husband will be turning 25 in 2019.
“Diana Marua was born to a Luo father and Kikuyu mother 30 years ago. Her father worked in a private hospital in the city while her mother was a housewife,” reads an excerpt from the interview.
The mother of one also disclosed how she found her ex-boyfriend cheating inside his car on the day she was having the video shoot with Bahati.
She went on to say that the tears displayed in the video were from the fact that she had broken up with the boyfriend on that very day.
“Bahati and I started off as friends. We met in 2016 when he was looking for a video vixen for his hit song Mapenzi. I remember I was awe struck. I even took selfies for my Instagram followers. I was seeing someone when we met but on the day of the video shoot, I found him cheating inside his car. The tears you see in the video are real heartbreak tears,” she said.
