Now before we continue further, let us first be clear that Magoha has not said anything related to university students wearing school uniforms and the allegations are just fake news spreading on the Internet.

But is there anything wrong with university students wearing uniforms?

In this society where people are judged on the basis of how they look, with some students involving themselves in prostitution and betting to get money to buy clothes, what would be worse than introducing uniforms which act as an equalizing factor?

With uniforms, students will not have to worry about fashion but concentrate on what took them to college; studying and finding solutions to the world’s problems.

Uniforms also give students a sense of belonging. It makes you part of the institution and creates some sense of discipline for responsible future citizens in the work force.

Uniforms will also significantly reduce the time some people take to dress in the morning. Some girls take hours just to choose their clothes. That is time wasting. For many students, deciding what to wear five days a week for approximately fourteen weeks each semester is grossly time-consuming.

Alafu KMTC students wear uniforms. Are they lesser human beings? They have the highest rate of absorption rate into the workforce. That is nothing related to the uniforms but there is nothing that justifies why universites shouldn’t have uniforms.

Honestly, who doesn’t want a uniform after reading Harry Potter and watching The Facts of Life?
