Citizen TV News Anchor Rashid Abdallah has mourned his late dad as it marked 23 years since he passed away.
The media personality drafted a special message in memory of his father saying that he misses him.
His father passed away on 5th May 1996 and Rashid says that he was not just a father to him but a friend too.
Although he counts so many years down the line, Rashid mentioned that the loss feels like something that happened yesterday.
Rashid also penned down a special prayer dedicated to his father asking God to forgive an elevate him.
” Dad 5-5-1996 feels like yesterday. O Allah, forgive him and elevate his station among those who are guided. O Lord of the worlds enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it. I miss you so much Dad. Make a dua for my friend. ” he wrote in his post
