Ngilu calls for Eastern leaders Unity

Governor  Charity Ngilu has restated the need for all elected leaders  to work together for the benefit of Kitui residents.

The Governor cited political differences among leaders as the main setback in realizing the five development pillars set to improve the livelihoods of residents across the county.

In a message delivered on her behalf by one of her advisory team from Ikanga, Kitui South Sub-county madam Queen Masila -during a funds drive in Katalwa AIC Church in Migwani, Mwingi West sub-county, the Governor said there was need  for leaders to unite for better service delivery to the electorate.

Ngilu’s remarks were echoed by the area MCA Hon. Phillip Nguli (Kalumaita) who expressed his commitment to work with the county administration for the benefit of all.

“I am ready to work with Governor Charity Ngilu, that’s the only way am going to pull resources to my people” he said

He called upon all leaders to unite saying it was time for service delivery.

“Politics will come and go, but our people will remain. Time will come when ‘we’ leaders will be judged  by what we delivered”  he said.
