How Managed Equipment Service Program has boosted the health sector in Bomet County

Earlier today during the inaugural Bomet County CDICC meeting chaired by Bomet County Commissioner Geoffrey Omoding, the team later proceeded to inspect the equipment received under MES programme at Longisa Level 5 and Nadai Level 4 hospitals

The Managed Equipment Services Program has been a great boost to healthcare in the area.

Radiology & surgical equipment at Longisa Level 5 hospital were received through the Managed Equipment Service Program.

The program has also brought renal, surgical and specialised imaging facilities, which has helped to decongest referral hospitals across the country.

The Renal Equipment at Longisa Level 5 hospital delivered through the Managed Equipment Services Programme (MES) has helped in supporting provision of dialysis to patients with kidney failure in the county.

The delivery of these hospital equipment will indeed go a long way in ensuring that the people of Bomet County get the best health care services and have full access to proper healthcare.

The program also serves as a contributing factor to the realization of Uhuru’s Big 4 Agenda with one being the Universal Health Care
