Deputy President William Ruto has decided to take the bull by its horns and address the graft probe that has befallen him.

Ruto’s allies have been on the receiving end of lamenting that the war on graft is targeting their man prior to 2022 general elections.

The Kimwarer and Arror dam projects caused hate in Jubilee government when Ruto stated that the money in question was Ksh 7 billion contrary to the Ksh 21 billion stated by investigators and confirmed by CS treasury Henry Rotich.

Speaking in Mombasa, Ruto expressed his disatisfaction on war on graft saying it is impunity and politics.

“As we move forward as a nation, selective prosecution targeting predetermined individuals and projects, and steamrolled by a narrative of convenient lies and falsehood and propaganda, is not a fight against corruption. It’s impunity, it’s politics, and it’s headed in the wrong direction,” Ruto said.
