The on-going shifting of blames and loud confrontations on the Arror and Kimwarer dam scandal is taking new twists each and everyday.
Apart from the Statement by the Deputy President William Ruto that only 7 billion is the only amount missing from the Dam scandal, different allegiances have taken up in arms to defend their side: Hon Raila’s side and DP Ruto’s side.
But according to one of the closest ally to the Deputy President who is Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei, their is nothing wrong with the dam scandal.
According to Hon Samson Cherargei, the Arror and Dam scandal is a scheme to fix the 2022 succession politics.
Speaking to Citizen TV Hon Cherargei passed all the blames to the handshake;
” It seems there is a scheme by particular individuals, especially the sponsors of the handshake, to undermine development projects in the Rift Valley region.”
“The handshake is being used in the succession politics of 2022…I do not think there is an issue with Arror and Kimwarer dams.”
Similar sentiments have been echoed by other Jubilee politicians who are close allies to the Deputy President William Ruto.
