Unprepared teachers killed Jubilee’s laptop project

Government reports on education have hinted why Jubilee’s laptop project failed.

The teachers were not prepared and the implementation was not successful and so it came to a halt.

December last year, the Ministry of Education gave a shocking report that the project was at about Five percent.

While supply and installation in schools stands at approximately 95 percent nationally, implementation ails at five percent in terms of utilisation of the equipment,

To compensate for the failed laptop project, Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang unveiled that the ministry now plans to provide schools with computer labs
