Kill by the sword and die by the sword so they say. A man in Litein today learnt the meaning of the say the hard way after he was sent to his early grave in the most dehumanizing way possible.

The man who was linked to a gang that killed a woman and gang-raped her three granddaughters in Litein, was lynched by angry residents.

This was after he was found in possession of a mobile phone that belonged to the deceased.

“The man was positively identified by one of the granddaughters. He lives a few kilometres from their house,” said a witness.

Other witnesses said the suspect confessed that he was part of the four-member gang who committed the crime after he was positively identified.

Earlier, DCI detectives arrested a man believed to be part of the gang.

The 30-year-old suspect was arrested and positively identified by three victims of the attack.

We hope Justice will be delivered to the affected family.
