The Tanzanian Art Council BASATA has received honors for their efforts to maintain sanity in the creative industry.
The Council is known for being strict and always serves as advocates of morality as well as promoting content that can place Tanzanian on the map.
BASATA has also proved to be a functional board that is non discriminatory in their works. The council deal with all artists whether top class and popular to upcoming artists.
BASATA is also known to be a council with strict guidelines that all artists are required to comply with. This has made it easier for Tanzania to regulate the content that is shared by the public.
BASATA received a photo this morning as a symbol of the honor from Mohammed Rajab Chiwaya. The token was received by BASATA Secretary General Godfrey Mngereza.
The council was commended for its job and for standing firm to promote a decent lifestyle through the Tanzanian artists.
