Deputy President William Ruto has wanted the presidency all his life and is getting ready to take over from President Kenyatta once he is done with his ten year term.
However not everyone thinks that DP Ruto will be the next president.While taking to his twitter account Kenyan-American professor of law Makau Mutua came out to strongly refute the claims by the Kalenjin community with their ambition of having one of their own take over from President Kenyatta.
Prof Makau wrote saying, “I beseech the Kalenjin Nation to wake up and smell the black coffee. DP @WilliamsRuto is now politically “finished.” Look elsewhere for 2022. Putting your eggs in the Hustler’s basket is a looser — a fool’s errand @kipmurkomen @HonAdenDuale @ahmednasirlaw @DonaldBKipkorir”

His statement attracted a number of reactions from most if Ruto’s allies including Hon. Murkomen among others
