How many things have you heard that have infiltrated the country through underground means? If we start mentioning i know the list is endless. Maybe we may end up mentioning everything.

Kenya is a hotbed of importing counterfeit products. Legit products are grabbed before they can even reach to an ordinary citizens. The authorities always want to grab the first share then pass the remains.

Also influential people who are calling shots to escape the long arm of KRA, it is now a woe to them. Their game is cut short. They better join the league of the true oldies.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has officially launched the KRA tracking system. The system is meant to track goods as they enter the port till they reach the designated destination

The goods in containers are tracked through the GPS device satellite with a sim card. The sim card is activated online which then allows transmission of signals back to the KRA departments once the containers leave the port.

Then everything is activated and monitored on the screens giving a real time feedback.

The drivers transporting the goods are able to be reached from the control center and even give the insight of the journey so far.

The tracking center will ensure efficiency in good delivery across Kenya, Uganda and even Rwanda who are the main users of the port and get most of their goods through the country.
