Hazard reveals what Kante told him that he was inspired to Liverpool wonder goal

The Belgian struck late on at Anfield to put  the Reds to their first defeat of the season and maintain Maurizio Sarri’s unbeaten start to life as Blues boss.

Eden Hazard has revealed what N’Golo Kante said to him just before his wonder goal that dumped Liverpool out of the Carabao Cup.

Daniel Sturridge had earlier fired Liverpool ahead before Emerson levelled for the visitors after Simon Mignolet had kept out Ross Barkley’s header.

But Hazard jinked his way through the Reds defence to score a stunning winner – but not before some words of wisdom from French International and 2018 Worldcup winner N’golo  Kante.

The Belgian National team captain said, “I spoke with N’Golo on the bench and he told me he didn’t want to take a penalty, so the only solution was to score.”

The former Lille forward rates the goal among the best he has ever scored as a Chlesea  player.

He said,”It is on the top of the list, top 3. I remember around two years ago, the one against  Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. That one was nice. This one also is one of the best, especially when you score against a big team and win the game. That’s the most important thing.”
