Internet has been set a blaze with reports that a young lady allegedly drowned her own baby so as she can get money from her friends.
Reports on social media indicate that lady that has been identified as Emma drowned her baby ho has been identified as Smile and lied to her friends that the baby had fallen sick and admitted at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.
The lady is said to have told her friends that doctors at Aga Khan examined the baby and found nothing.
However, it is being argued that no records are available at the hospital to prove her allegations.
The baby is said to have been found three days later floating in a swampy area within Kasarani in Nairobi.
Emma, according to reports went ahead to form a WhatsApp group for contributions and lied to the same friends that she had already buried the Angel.
The body of the deceased young girl is however said to still be lying at the City Mortuary. Emma dumped her daughter’s clothes in a litter bin later.
Netizens have now flocked on social media calling for the investigations of the matter and arrest of the lady.
They have condemned the act, urging relevant authorities to intervene and find justice for the deceased young soul.
