For a long period of time, nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura has been a good follower of the Kieleweke movement.
His frequent presence at most of Kieleweke’s political meetings in Central Kenya had grown him as one of the key pillars inside the team together with Nominated MP Maina Kamanda and Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu.
However, his recent behaviour and utterances have left many wondering if the former Nominated MP for Special Interest Groups has changed his support for Kieleweke team
While appearing at NTV morning show on Monday 9, September, Mwaura softened his usual verbal attacks on the Tanga-tanga led group instead warning against the ongoing exchanges between the two groups.
Mwaura observed that it was likely to split the Mt Kenya region into two.
Mwaura who did not want to take sides termed the Sunday 9ncident between Noro and Kamanda as abomination indicating that the two politicians went too far in their fight for political dominance in Central Kenya.

He also took swipes with Maina Kamanda saying that the MP was not good enough to be a leader. He revealed that he was there when the Kieleweke group was planning to go and attack Ndindi Nyoro.
“I told them that I cannot go and attack Nyoro at his home turf since Nyoro has been my friend since their campus days” stated Mwaura
And on Tuesday shortly after his release from court, Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura was spotted together with Nyoro addressing supporters at a roadside in Murang’a.
Mwaura in his speech wondered why so many police officers were sent after Ndindi instead of securing Kenyans. He said Kenya is not a nation of rich people and vowed to stand with Ndindi to the end.
