Waihiga brings to light that Nollywood is the second highest employer with over 1 million Youth working under the industry.
Waihiga says that he is looking forward to a phase where the Kenyan Film Industry will mark a notable growth.
“I can not wait for a time when Kenya’s film industry will rise up to the challenge & create employment for so many talented people out there.” he wrote on his post
A section of Kenyans agree that the film industry has a long way to go while others argue that Kenyans actors are doing a great job only that the media does not give priority of coverage of Kenyan entertainment content.

Our actors are doing a great job,its you media people who are failing our entertainment industry..If you could only embrace our actors and musicians ,we would have been far in show biz…Instead you give us 65% nigerian content ,20% Tz and 15% Kenyan Content..Nollywood became a household cos of the support it got from their media .We only helped them to expand by bringing their stuff into East African Market.
