President Uhuru Kenyatta has finally resurfaced after the online ‘search’ went ham on his fall out from the public eye.
Through the State House Twitter account, the President signed into law the Health Laws (Amendment) Bill of 2018 and the Assumption of the Office of County Governor Bill.
The new health law amends the Pharmacy and Poisons Act (Cap 244), the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Act (Cap 244), the Nurses Act (Cap 257), and the Kenya Medical Training College Act (Cap 261).
This follows the recent hashtag of #FindPresidentKenyatta on Twitter which was launched after the president disappeared from the public and media.
Uhuru Kenyatta has not been seen in the public since he left to China alongside Raila Odinga to secure SGR loans among other state businesses.
Earlier today, government spokesperson Kanze Dena appeared on public radio and said that the President is okay and is busy working.
Having disabled all his social media accounts, Kenyatta has no reason to come back and it is his personal will according to Kanze Dena.
However, the new law that Kenyatta has signed has been termed as ‘fake’ by Kenyans who said that the picture was drawn from archives.
